Keweenaw Mesh and MeshCore radios are not an official public safety service and does not offer connectivity to dispatch. It is not guaranteed to work when you need it. The mesh network is a last resort in an emergency. It is a best effort network; not to be used as a first attempt to contact help.
If you or someone else needs urgent help, call 911 or the local emergency number that actually reaches official emergency services where you are. Only attempt to use this network if it is safe and useful, never instead of 911.
